The Star Jasmine is a 'wintergreen' climber. The twigs seek support, and when they find it they grow around it. A piece of gauze offers enough support. It is not really suitable to train over pergolas. We recommend turning the 'support-seeking' twigs into the gauze or to block them.
The beautifully white flowered Star Jasmine is winter-resistant to approximately -10 degrees. It is a great addition to your garden, especially because of the lovely smelling flowers. Give it a nice spot in the sun!
