Description
A beautiful symmetrical plant which is also called the "Travellers Palm" since the large leaves are often used to drink water in the wild when one is travelling.
The leaves are reminiscent of the Strelitzia nicolai and also have characteristics of the leaves of a banana.
Particularly striking is the Travellers Palm's symmetrical growth! In adulthood, it has the appearance of a peacock's plumage. This beauty can attain a height of more than 15m (45 feet) with a leaf-span of almost 3m (9 feet)!
