Description

Osmunda regalis is a royal fern with leaves emerging from the rhizome. This fern has double pinnate green leaves that start pinkish in spring and contain light brown spore plumes. The fern likes a sheltered spot in the shade or semi-shade. The fern is not evergreen but is hardy.
