Description
Nolina longifolia originates in Mexico and is known as Bear grass or Oaxaca tree. In some languages, it is called bottle tree or elephant's foot, due to its trunk. This trunk is swollen at the bottom but slowly gets thinner upwards. The trunk appears a bit cork-like, making it a real eye catcher. Its crown of leaves is round and grass-like. Nolina longifolia usually grows up to 3 metres tall.
