Trachycarpus wagnerianus x fortunei

The female flower of the wagnerianus is pollinated with the male flower of the fortunei to produce the Trachycarpus wagnerianus x fortunei. This tree combines some of characteristics of the wagnerianus with some of the Trachycarpus fortunei. Its hardiness is the same as the Trachycarpus fortunei but its leaves can be stiffer. A very interesting tree! We pollinate and harvest the seeds ourselves.
