Blechnum minus is a water fern, which is widely used in and near ravines in the mountains. It is larger than Blechnum nudum with which it is often to be found. It is similar to Blechnum wattsii, but the leaflets are narrower and more numerous, and generally less leathery and pale. This plant is hardy and thrives in wet areas.
