Eremophila nivea, the silky eremophila, is named as such due to its beautiful 'snowy' leaves that feel very soft. It is an evergreen shrub with hairy branches and leaves. They are native to the wilds of Western Australia, where it is condered rare. Despite that, it is easy to cultivate - and thus easily found in cultivation. It is a beloved plant due to is upright growth habit. It has beautiful flowers that do particularly well in dry climates with a lot of sun. It can withstand some frost, but protect against more severe frosts.
