Trachycarpus Wagnerianus: the winter palm
During the winter some gardens are more exposed than others. If, for example, you live by the sea or in the country, there may be days with heavy winds blowing in your garden. Country gardens are often colder and wetter than city gardens and the plants freeze more quickly. There are many hardy palms, but our new champion is the Trachycarpus wagnerianus. This palm is particularly hardy in terms of resistance to moisture, mist and wind. More so than other hardy palms, such as Trachycarpus fortunei.
A rustic and tropical appearance
Trachycarpus wagnerianus looks a bit like a bonsai tree. It is compact and has a beautifully structured crown of dark, compact, wind-resistant leaves; ideal for small gardens. This palm with palmate leaves is very well suited, for example, to container planting near a wall and looks great near the entrance, gate or front door of a house. It is also very suitable for a balcony, as it takes up little space. Check out our website as we grow more than 100,000 Trachycarpus wagnerianus each year and can therefore ship it at a good price.
