Description
The Taxus media is a cross between the Taxus baccata (English Yew) and the Taxus cuspidata (Japanese Yew). The Taxus media `Hicksii´ grows slower than the Taxus baccata. It has a wide columnar shape and is often used in hedges. It has a beautiful and full dark green colour.
Hicksii is the female variety of Taxus media. Taxus media Hillii is the male variety that can pollinate Hicksii.
